According to the payment terms prescribed by the Government o Haryana as per Affordable Housing Policy, 5% of the cost is to be paid as booking amount, 20% of the cost of the flat is to be paid on allotment while the balance 7% amount is to be paid in 6 equal installment over 3 years period. Any default in payment shall invite interest at the rate of 15% per annum on delayed payment.
As per the affordable housing policy of the Government of Haryana, any person can apply for allotment of an apartment in the project but person which includes his or her spouse or his her dependent children who do not own any flat or plot in any HUDA colony or sector or any licensed colony in any of the urban areas in Haryana Union Territory of Chandigarh and NCT of Delhi shall be given first preference in allotment of flat. The allotment of apartment shall be don’t through draw of lots in the presence of a committee consisting of Deputy Commissioner or his representative, Senior Town Planner, DTP of Gurgaon and representative of the developer, AVL Infrastructure Pvt. Madhya Pradesh Housing Board has launched new housing scheme for High income Group (HIG) Flats at Dwarka Parisar Arvind Vihar, Bagmugalia, Bhopal. The details of the scheme like how to apply, important dates,applications fee, eligibility, registration and draw details are given below.
The new housing scheme is launched under the name Dwarka Parisar Bhopal and will be offering flats for the category High income Group (HIG) Flats. The housing scheme will be offering a total of 88 Flats. The flats are futher subdivided into two category, namely HIG Type A and HIG Type B with area of 126.54 Sq.mt and 92.68 Sq.Mt respectively. The estimated cost of the flats are HIG Type A flat is Rs 39.85 lakhs and of HIG Type B Flat is Rs 29.20 lakhs.

How to create an e-WILL online at HDFC Securities?

One of the important aspect of financial planning is writing a WILL in favor of your family member. While the manual WILL process is time consuming, recently HDFC Securities have introduced a new feature called the e-WILL where you can generate WILL online by entering your details. While online trading has made investing easy, e-WILL service makes WILL services easy and simpler.

What is WILL and is WILL necessary document?

A will is a legal document that sets forth your wishes regarding the distribution of your property and the care of any minor children.
Wills come in several varieties, including the following:

1.) Self-Proving/Testamentary Will:

A self-proving will, also know as testamentary will, is the traditional type of will with which most people are familiar. It is a formally prepared document that is signed in the presence of witnesses.

2.) Holographic Will:

Holographic wills are written without the presence of witnesses. They rarely hold up in court.

3.) Oral Will:

Oral wills are spoken testaments given before witnesses. They are not widely recognized from a legal perspective.

4.) Living Will:

A living will has nothing to do with the distribution of assets, but rather sets forth your wishes for medical care in terms of life support should you be incapacitated.
To maximize the likelihood that your wishes are carried out, you want a will that is set forth in writing, and signed by you and your witnesses. If your will does not meet these standards, your instructions may not be carried out.

How to create an e-WILL online at HDFC Securities?

Step by step process of creating online e-will is enclosed below:
  • Visit HDFCsec.com website.
  • Click on value added services on the right hand side
  • Visit e-will section. You can directly click this link to go to e-WILL section.
  • Give full name, mobile number, email ID, City and Submit
  • Pay Rs 4,000 + taxes online through net banking or credit card or debit card
  • Update gender, religion, occupation, residential status and assets you own.
  • Fill personal details about your family
  • Fill full assets details
  • Provide details on how to distribute assets after your death.
  • You can fill information up to 60 days from making the payment to HDFC Securities.
  • Email is generated with the your legal WILL in word document.
  • Sign the document in front of witnesses.
  • If you wish to register the WILL, you can visit the registration office along with witness and register the document.
  • However, registration of WILL is not mandatory as of now.

Is it secure?

Apart from HDFC Securities, NSDL e-Governance also offers such service as joint venture with Warmond trustees and Services. Both such ventures have a track record of handling large scale sensitive data and assure confidentiality.

Should you consider creating online e-WILL facility of HDFC Securities?

Not necessary. You can visit any attorney / advocate and create a WILL for the properties which you own. However, you can maintain complete privacy in the creation of the WILL if you are doing with e-WILL.
Conclusion: New products / features keep coming. HDFC Securities e-WILL facility is one such new feature. While I have not used it personally, I felt this was one good feature introduced by HDFC Sec. You need not visit any attorney / advocate for creating it. This is simple and WILL can be done at low cost.

For the first time Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB) will be constructing houses for the middle class. DUSIB has officially announced that the body will be constructing 27,000 flats in west and outer Delhi, which will be allotted to the applicants chosen in a draw of lots.
“It was there in the manifesto of AAP and as soon as they joined the government, we were asked to prepare a proposal. It has been decided that 14-storey residential apartments will be constructed with each flat having a built-up area of 1,000 square metres,” said a DUSIB official.
In their poll manifesto, the AAP had said that the party will redevelop around 200 acres of land owned by the DUSIB and lying unused in Savda Ghevra in Mundka in west Delhi and Bhalaswa in outer Delhi. “The party knew about this land and we have conducted a survey. There will be two categories of flats — LIG-1 and LIG-2 — and since the flats will measure 1,000 square metres, they will have two bedrooms, a hall and a kitchen. The draw of lots can be done on the lines of the procedure followed by the DDA,” the official added.
In the proposal, the DUSIB has also talked about the connectivity in these areas and lack of basic amenities. “Flats of DDA in Narela are lying vacant and we do not want the same here. The flats constructed by us will be of good quality and we will ensure proper water and power supply. Security aspect will also be considered,” the official said.
The cost of the flat has not been decided yet, but according to sources, it could be between Rs. 25 lakh and Rs. 40 lakh.

Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) has officially announced that the authority will hold auction of commercial sites on free hold basis in Urban Estate, Panipat will be held on 30th March 2015 at 11:AM .

Terms and Conditions:

  1. Each bidders will have to deposit security amount equal to 2% of the reserve price
    of the property for which he intends to bid, in the shape of cash or demand draft
    drawn in favour of the Estate Officer, HUDA Panipat, before participating in the
    auction.
  2. In case the bidder is bidding on behalf of some other partner/company he will
    have to produce authority letter to the satisfaction of presiding officer in-charge of
    the auction. Without production of such documents at the time of depositing
    security amount it will be presumed that the bidder is bidding in his own name.
  3. In case the bidder is successful he may be allowed to deposit more money as
    security money in order to facilitate his participation in the auction of remaining
    property.
